1900 pine floor sanding Harrogate

1900 pine floor sanded and finished in hardwax oil in Harrogate North Yorkshire

This 1900 built house in Harrogate was ready for its original living room floor making good again and with our help you can see the results of a good floor sanding job! The floor had been sanded once before and a dark stain applied to a pretty ugly colour, With our customer just moving in to the property, it was ready for a new lease of life and the sanding get underway.

Taking the main of the existing stain and oil up with our main belt sander at 40 grit, the original colour of the floor boards was exposed, bringing with it a lot lighter feel to the room and a lot fresher look. We then passed over the floor up to 100 grit for a smooth feel, but enough to allow for the Hard wax oil to soak in. This is finished in Osmo clear satin for a natural feel with protection.

We love bringing the original features of harrogate homes back to life and if you have a floor you would like us to take a look at then head over to our contacts page or take a look at our floor sanding page to find out more
