Breakfast Room Green Kitchen
Hand Made Shaker Kitchen
Painted in Breakfast room Green By Farrow and Ball
We recently completed a beautiful kitchen design project in Skipton, as part of a larger renovation led by James Tiffany Builders. The entire room was being revamped according to architectural plans, and our role was to design and build a handmade kitchen that would not only bring style but also provide practical solutions to meet our customer’s needs.
The heart of this kitchen lies in our Birch plywood cabinets. Birch ply is known for its durability and natural look, which provides a solid and fresh aesthetic to the space. To enhance the design, we added face frames and traditional hardwood shaker doors, giving the kitchen a classic, timeless appeal. One of the most exciting elements of this project was the introduction of African Zebrano wood. We carefully selected and placed this unique wood throughout the kitchen, where its striking grain and rich tones complement the green colour scheme perfectly, adding layers of texture and interest to the overall design.
The chosen colour, “Breakfast Room Green,” sets a warm and welcoming tone for the space. To achieve a traditional look, we hand-painted the entire kitchen, allowing the brush marks to give the room an authentic and lived-in feel. For the worktops, we opted for white quartz, which not only brightens the room but also provides practical benefits, particularly around the Belfast sink and the Quooker tap.
It was incredibly rewarding to see this kitchen come together as part of the larger renovation. Every detail, from the custom-made cabinetry to the choice of materials, was tailored to suit the space and our customer’s needs. The end result is a perfect blend of style and functionality.
