Vintage Style shaker Kitchen
Handmade Shaker kitchen designed to be in keeping with a cosy cottage in Hebden North Yorkshire
Our most recent kitchen build took place in the tranquil village of Hebden, North Yorkshire, as part of a small extension to a beautifully renovated home. We were tasked with designing and building a bespoke handmade kitchen that would seamlessly blend with the existing style. Before construction even began, we created a detailed 3D design, ensuring the space would work perfectly with the new L-shaped layout that extended the original small kitchen.
This full beaded face frame shaker kitchen features a timeless, traditional design with an emphasis on craftsmanship and detail. We used tulip wood for the cabinetry, which is painted in a soft green hue, while the interior is made of birch plywood, creating a light and airy feel that will stand the test of time. A standout feature is the solid oak peninsula, which serves as both a workspace and a dining table, making it a central hub for family gatherings.
Working closely with our clients, Charlie and Eleanor, was a joy—especially as the project evolved through several design changes. Their openness to ideas and creativity allowed us to explore the best possible solutions and deliver a kitchen that exceeded their expectations.
