We’re excited to share our most recent bespoke kitchen project, designed and crafted for a beautiful home in Grassington. After meeting with our clients, we set out to create a kitchen that combined both functionality and a sleek, handmade look. The design features an in-frame shaker kitchen with traditionally made shaker doors, and we integrated a solid oak theme throughout the space for a warm, timeless appeal.

This was a full-scale renovation project that we project managed from start to finish. The scope included everything from lifting the existing tiled flooring to ripping out the old kitchen, as well as plastering and coordinating all the necessary trades to complete the job. To kick things off, we laid a stunning engineered oak floor from British Hardwoods, which perfectly set the tone for the rest of the joinery.

The kitchen was designed around a beautiful Everhot cooker, which we kept in its original position, and we installed 30mm Quartz worktops that complement the shaker design. A Butler sink and a Quooker hot water tap add practicality and style to the space.

All the cabinetry is made from birch plywood, finished with hand-painted tulipwood frames and decorative ends. We added solid oak details throughout, including oak corbel shelves, oak drawer fronts, and a breakfast bar with oak burr inlays and gallows brackets. The project also features soft-close hardware on all doors and drawers, and high-quality bar pull handles from Planks Hardware.
