Fitted furniture Dacre North Yorkshire

Fitted furniture as part of a property renovation to a cottage in Dacre North Yorkshire

As Part of a property renovation in the stunning village of Dacre, we were commissioned to build some face frame shaker cabinets as a pantry area in the new kitchen extension. This was a slimline build to fit into an alcove and also to keep as much light in the room as possible. The joinery work also included a cupboard for the gas and electric services to match. A solid oak worktop was made for the top as part of the window sill and pewter handles fitted for the finishing touch. The main cabinetry build was birch plywood with adjustable shelving with hard wood shaker doors hand painted in Ver de Terre by Farrow and Ball.

On the opposite side of the room, we designed and made a solid oak plank breakfast bar. To keep the look of the room feeling spacious we made Gallows brackets to hold the structure with curved supports and dowels for a traditional loot to match the age of the property. A live edge upstaged was fitted to finish the look.
