Razor barbers LTD shop refit

Razor barbers Ltd shop refit in Barnoldswick.

A good friend of our Arron at Razor Barbers asked us to give the shop a facelift. This is what you might call our Covid-19 project we slowly plugged away at while the lockdown was on. Being self-employed and taking necessary precautions, self isolation was spent in the workshop preparing this ready for reopening.

With the shop size being on the small side, the plan was to make use of all the available space and make the most of it. If you have been in Arron’s shop you will know there can be a good old que too have your ears lowered, so making more seating was on the cards. A Cad drawing was done and a built in seat was made with storage underneath and upholstered cushions. After a chat we decided to integrate an oak theme to compliment the Moles breath grey by Farrow and Ball. Now up to 5 people can be seated instead of 3 with more space to work.

With the potential of having an extra seat for an extra employee to work at we extended the working area with a big piece of life edge oak. All the splits were resin filled and Gallows brackets were used to hold the oak up. A small cabinet was made for the centre for storage also painted in grey to match the seat. The copper piping was installed as a theme to run the wiring and was installed and certified by F M Fyles Electrical.

Really happy with the outcome and the whole shop has a fresh feel to it. If you would like a chat about a potential shop refit of a bespoke joinery project then please head over to our contacts page and drop us an email.
