Barn conversion in Burnsall – boarding and plastering

Extremely enjoyable project to work on up in the North Yorkshire dales, for a customer with lots of passion and vision for his project. We were approached to plaster board the stud work and thermal board the exterior walls and ceilings. With very few and far between straight angle on this project it have been an interesting challenge that has been well worth the hard work. Our customer Matt wanted to keep the hight and character of the original timbers which made for some really interesting areas to skim. Once the beams had been sanded we masked up the wood work and carefully plastered around everything. as always a two coat skim with the top coat polished up ready for decorating. Looking forward to seeing the whole project finished and proud to have our name on the list of trades me who have worked on it.
