We’ve recently completed a ceiling boarding and plastering project for a new-build car garage in Ilkley, alongside second-fix carpentry. The garage features a large, open ceiling that required careful planning and execution. To tackle the job, we split the work into two major sections, working on either side of the RSJ (rolled steel joist) to ensure a smooth and seamless finish over a significant area. The large meterage posed a challenge, but with our experience and attention to detail, we delivered a high-quality result.
The design also included the addition of pine trims, which were used to house the LED lighting, adding a modern touch to the space. This not only enhanced the overall aesthetic but also provided functional lighting for the garage area. Alongside the ceiling and carpentry work, we also fitted a small Howdens kitchen, perfectly tailored to this car collector’s garage. It’s a practical addition that elevates the space, making it both a functional and stylish environment.
