Fitted Wardrobes In Pelt By Farrow and Ball
Bespoke Fitted Wardrobes
Painted in Pelt by Farrow and Ball
What A lush colour! I always love getting stuck into a project when a funky colour is on the cards. After the initial measure up with our lovely customer Jayne, who has kindly returned to us for numerous projects now, A 3D Cad drawing was made of the space and the design was agreed upon. With this joinery project, storage was key to make the most of the room.
As with most of our builds, Birch cabinetry is at the heart of the project, with all our main cabinets and drawers made from 18mm. All the shelves are adjustable to allow for different size storage and the drawers will hold unto 25kg of weight. We also added a hanging compartment for long garments as well. The shaker doors are traditional made 4 piece and 5 piece assembly’s, made with Tulip wood and birch ply insets panel’s. There is also an addition of a shaped oak desk to allow for the swing of the door and floating oak shelves.
Its always great working with Jaynes commitment to a colour and this is a winner. There whole decorative part of the project was handprinted in Pelt By Farrow and Ball, a deep rich purple that defiantly attracts the eye. The room is yet to be decorated in the photos with a lighter colour of purple to compliment the Pelt. The handles are a black bar by M.Marcus heritage that compliment the dark tones of the room. The full joinery project is fitted with soft close runners and door hinges so all the components will close themselves with a slight push.
Great project! Loved working on it!
