Handmade Face frame kitchens
Traditional face frame kitchens
designed and created in north Yorkshire
This is a made to measure face frame kitchen for in Skipton that was designed, created and installed by The autumn Kitchen. This is our partner company dedicated to creating handmade kitchen. The design on this kitchen is non modular, we keep the frames as long as possible to allow for more efficient space in the the cupboards and a more pleasing aesthetic on the eye. As with all or bespoke kitchen builds, there is zero MDF or chipboard. All our cabinets are made from birch plywood, designed with the interiors to be practical to our customers needs. and all our frames and shaker doors are made from Tulip wood if they are being painted. In the design process we like to keep the symmetry as strict as we can down to the measurements of the doors to the frames. All our door and drawers are on high quality soft close hinges and runners. with a slight push they will close them selves with a soft feel.
The kitchen was spray painted in our workshop with Fired earths Flake White colour. We used an American Ash theme in the pantry and with some of the features throughout the kitchen. Such as the Pantry shelving and drawers, the dowel wine rack and the lap trays. We built a specific housing for the Fisher and Paykel American fridge as our customer Claire wanted a flush finish to the larder wall. A Quarts worktop was templated and fitted with a traditional Belfast pot sink. the upper cabinet house the boiler and services, but are designed to not show this at all and look like usable cabinetry.
