Full Attic Renovation Barnoldswick
Plastering By TF Building and Renovations
When we first entered this room is we just a shell, stripped right back to the slates and walls ready for a new lease of life and a full renovation. Firstly the ceiling was boarded allowing for a big curve at the apex. Partition walls were built under the eves and the pearling clad with plasterboard. The walls were coved with Blue grit to all a strong bond for the new plaster. Radiators removed and switches unscrewed of access. When re-skiming on blue grit, on our first coat with will use fibres to make it as strong a it can be and adhere to the background best as possible. The curve on the ceiling was plastered in one go carefully building up the curve beforehand. The top coat is applied with our fibres to allow for the best finish that is always troweled up to a polished finish the plastic flexy trowels. The whole project was turned around in around a week and was ready for decorating once the plaster had dried.
