Made To Measure Laundry room

and storage cabinets.

Every millimetre made the difference in this project! One of our customers in Hebden north yorkshire who we have worked for numerous times before approached us with a challenge. Charlie had converted his downstairs storage room into a extra bathroom and we were to make some fitted cabinets for the laundry. Sounds simple but space was very much at a premium.

The cabinets had to house a washing machine, tumble dryer, pull out shelf, ironing board and vacuum storage. All still allowing the doors to swing with 300mm space between the cabinets and the bathroom. After a couple of site visits and numerous different CAD drawings, we found the best solution and began the build.

All the doors are made from Black Valchromat finished in Osmo hard wax oil for a sleek finish, fitting to the style of the room. We processed so solid oak handles with a finger pull the full length of the doors, we took this approach to keep the look of doors and not just a big black wall and a solid oak pull handle for the sliding shelf. Quite a change is such a small space for the cabinets but rewarding to see it all working in situation.
