We recently completed a floor sanding project in Skipton, working on a 1930s pine sub-floor that was in need of restoration. After years of wear and tear, the floor had lost its luster, but with a bit of expert care, we brought it back to life. Using a series of grit sandpapers, we carefully sanded the boards to remove years of stains, dirt, and old finishes. The result was a beautifully smooth surface, showcasing the natural charm of the pine.
Once the sanding was completed, we finished the floor with hard wax oil, which not only enhances the wood’s grain but also provides a hard-wearing, protective layer. This made the floor ready for its new life in this newly renovated living room.
